In a tragic incident in Oklahoma, a man of Indian origin died following an assault. The victim, identified as Hemant Mishra from Gujarat, was working as a manager at a hotel in Oklahoma.

The incident occurred around 10 pm on June 22, when Hemant Mishra asked a man named Richard Lewis to leave the hotel. Lewis became enraged and attacked Mishra, striking him in the face.

Hemant Mishra was immediately taken to the hospital but, unfortunately, succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.

The police have registered a case regarding the incident and have arrested the accused, Richard Lewis, who was found hiding in another hotel.

Authorities have stated that an investigation is ongoing to determine the circumstances leading to Mishra's request for Lewis to leave the hotel.
