Georgia, USA: IndiGo Airlines has expanded its U.S. network by adding Atlanta (ATL) as a new destination, enhancing travel options for Non-Resident Indians (NRIs). The airline, which is India’s largest low-cost carrier, has strengthened its codeshare partnership with Turkish Airlines. The new collaboration will offer direct flights from India to Atlanta, Houston (IAH), Miami (MIA), and Los Angeles (LAX) via Istanbul, starting December 18, 2024. This expansion further connects India with key cities across the United States.
With this addition, IndiGo’s U.S. routes now extend to nine destinations, complementing its existing flights to New York, Washington, Boston, Chicago (ORD), and San Francisco (SFO).
Vinay Malhotra, IndiGo’s Head of Global Sales, highlighted the importance of these new connections, stating, “This expansion provides more travel choices for our customers, especially benefiting business travelers, students, tourists, and those visiting family and friends. Our goal is to continue offering affordable, timely, and efficient travel experiences across our global network.”
The enhanced codeshare agreement with Turkish Airlines now connects IndiGo travelers to 43 destinations worldwide. The airline is focusing on meeting the growing demand for international travel from India while maintaining its reputation for competitive fares and dependable service.
