Dashavatara Venkateswara Swamy Installation in Columbia

In Columbia, South Carolina, USA, the grand Dasavatara Venkateswara Swamy Prana Pratishtha program took place recently.

Spanning from the 14th to the 16th of the month, the installation ceremony at the local Venkateswara temple was celebrated with elaborate rituals.

The event included Ankurarpan, Sankalpam, homages, and pujas, and culminated in the installation of a six-foot divine idol of Swami, followed by wedding rituals and a Rathotsavam.

Guided by scholars and carried out by ritviks, the program saw participation from hundreds of devotees daily, supported by dedicated volunteers. Musical performances and traditional meals added to the festivities, concluding with felicitations for contributors and a quiz for youth.

The event marks the first installation of its kind in America, aiming to establish the Dasavatara Venkateswara Devasthanam as a prominent spiritual destination.
