Texas, USA: The North American Telugu Association (NATS) is embracing the motto ‘Sevae Gamyam,’ which translates to "Service is our goal," as part of its commitment to social responsibility. On Sunday, February 2, NATS successfully hosted the 'Adapt a Street' initiative in Frisco, Texas, to encourage a sense of civic duty among Telugu youth.
Over 50 volunteers participated in the event, working to clean up a two-mile stretch of fields and parkways, stretching from Teal to Legacy. A significant number of students joined in, emphasizing the importance of teaching younger generations about the significance of maintaining cleanliness and promoting environmental sustainability.
Dallas Chapter coordinators, Swapna Katragadda and Shravan Nidiganti, expressed their gratitude to everyone involved in making the event a success. They also acknowledged the support of key donors, including Swagat Biryanis, Value Financial Services, Arka Children's Academy, Hind Site, Kopel Chess Club, and Pharm2Cook, for their contributions to the initiative.
Key attendees at the event included NATS Board Director Rajendra Madala, Dallas Team Advisor Kavitha Dodda, Co-Treasurer Ravi Tandra from NATS National Team, NATS Media Relations National Coordinator Kishore Nare, NATS Zonal Vice President Satya Sriramaneni, and Dallas Chapter members such as Badri Biyyapu, Pavani Nunna, Kiran Nare, Shiva Madhav, Vamsi Krishna Venati, and Sailakshmi Nadiminti.
Bapu Nooti, NATS Board Director and former NATS President praised the efforts of the Dallas chapter for their dedication to community service and social responsibility. NATS President Madan Pamulapati and Chairman Prasanth Pinnamaneni also congratulated everyone involved in making the 'Adapt a Street' event a remarkable success.
