Houston, Texas: Musaafer Indian Restaurant, located in the heart of Houston's Galleria area, has earned a prestigious Michelin star, solidifying its position as a top destination for Indian cuisine in the U.S. It is now one of six Michelin-starred restaurants in Houston. 

The Michelin Guide awards one star based on criteria such as consistency, quality of ingredients, flavor harmony, culinary techniques, and the chef's unique touch in their dishes. This is the first time that restaurants in Texas have been recognized by the Michelin Guide.

Shammi and Mithu Malik, the owners, alongside Executive Corporate Chef Mayank Istwal, expressed their heartfelt gratitude for receiving this honor. They also acknowledged the vital role played by the Houston community in their success.
