Representatives of American universities visiting India

Washington: Representatives from the top 17 universities in America are set to visit India next week, to strengthen cooperation between the two nations. The delegation, comprising Provosts (Chief Academic Officers of the Universities), Deans, and other high-ranking officials, will tour 26 educational institutions in the cities of Delhi, Mumbai, and Hyderabad. This decision by the universities holds significance in light of the recent increase in attacks on Indian students in America. The tour, led by the Institute of International Education (IIE), is scheduled to take place from the 25th of this month to the 2nd of March. The list of institutions to be visited includes prominent names such as The Indian School of Business, IIT Hyderabad, Mahindra University, and Narsi Monji Institute of Management Studies, among others.
