Singapore Telugu Society Hosts Vibrant Sankranti Celebrations

The Telugu community of Singapore, which has always been at the forefront of preserving Telugu culture and traditions, organized the Sankranti celebrations with grandeur. A large number of Teluguas flocked to the ceremony held at the PGP Hall in Singapore.

As part of the Sankranti celebrations, the Telugu calendar was unveiled for the seventh time in a row. Cultural programs organized on this occasion entertained the guests. The boys and girls performed the Ramayana well and received many praises. Acha Telugu Pindivantalu, a 34-course meal, a mouth-watering variety of cuisines has particularly impressed the local Telugu audience.

STS President Bommareddy Srinivasulareddy wished Sankranthi to all those who came and succeeded in this program which is being held in Telugu Sankranti atmosphere. In addition to explaining the activities carried out by their working group during the last year, they asked everyone to provide more support and help towards realizing the dream of community building before the 50th day of establishment.
