US H-1B visa pilot program, open to Indians and Canadians only

US officials have undertaken a pilot program to resume the renewal of H-1B nonimmigrant visas, detailing the associated eligibility and application details. This process will start from January 2024. As per the details the inaugural event will be open only to Indians and Canadians.

H-1B Pilot Program: Application Dates The Department of State will accept applications for the H-1B Pilot Program from January 29 through April 1, 2024. The objective of this pilot is to test the technical and operational capability of the Department to resume domestic visa renewals. The Department has set a deadline of midnight on April 15, 2024 for written comments and related material.
