Telangana women in Hong Kong are eagerly celebrating Bathukamma, a cultural symbol of Telangana and a national festival. This vibrant festival, held alongside Dussehra, includes gatherings filled with joy and tradition.
For about fifteen days, the celebrations feature recitations, puppetry, and colorful parades, attracting participants in beautiful silk sarees and jewels. The Hong Kong Telugu Federation hosted the festivities grandly at Tung Chung Promenade on Lantau Island, creating a lively atmosphere enjoyed by many.
