Heathrow Airport: Technical Fault Disrupts Services, Thousands of Passengers Stranded

A serious technical issue has arisen at London Heathrow Airport, one of the busiest airports in the world. Thousands of passengers, including Bollywood stars, are stranded.

The problem occurred in the British Airways IT department, causing massive flight disruptions and significant delays in luggage collection. According to the Daily Mail, passengers of about 30 flights are stuck in the baggage halls, many having missed their connecting flights.

British Airways responded, stating that their experts are working to resolve the issue. A company representative apologized for the disruption and assured that they are working hard to assist affected passengers and return operations to normal as soon as possible. Passengers are advised to stay in touch with official airline communications. British Airways may face compensation claims and investigations due to this incident, highlighting the need for a robust IT system in the aviation sector.

Bollywood actress Aditi Rao Hydari is among those stranded at the airport. She posted on Instagram about the situation, describing the long wait at an empty baggage belt and her attempts to get information from airport staff, who directed her to contact the airline.
