Indian-American Mohinder Singh Taneja Joins the National Board of the Minority Business Roundtable

New York, USA: Mohinder Singh Taneja, a prominent leader within the Indian-American and broader American communities, has been appointed to the National Board of Advisors for the Minority Business Roundtable (MBRT).

The MBRT is a Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit committed to supporting minority, veteran, and women entrepreneurs. The board collaborates with top business leaders to tackle public policy issues and advocate for the growth of minority-owned businesses.

Taneja, an Indian-American entrepreneur, is the founder and chairman of Sterling Universal Group, Inc., a company specializing in medical technology, as well as its subsidiary, Vedi Robotics, which focuses on assistive robotics. He has an extensive public service background, particularly in Long Island, New York, where he has led various community and business initiatives.

Taneja is widely recognized as the "Ambassador of Diversity" due to his efforts in fostering cross-cultural dialogue and promoting business growth. He is the Senior Vice President and co-founder of the American Punjabi Society Inc., which encourages intercultural discussions. He also co-founded the Indian American Chamber of Commerce on Long Island, aiming to boost both local and international trade relations.

Additionally, Taneja represents the U.S. in the MSME Development Forum, which focuses on advancing small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in India. His role in the forum promotes cross-border business partnerships, supporting global economic development.
