A 5.1-magnitude earthquake hit near Sorkheh in Iran's Semnan Province at a depth of 35 kilometers, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) confirmed. The tremors were felt across northern parts of the country, though there have been no reports of significant damage or casualties so far.
