74 Killed In Gaza As Israeli Strikes Hit Aid Seekers, Cafe

Israeli strikes killed at least 74 people in Gaza on Monday, including 30 at a seaside cafe and 23 near food aid sites, officials said. An Israeli airstrike targeted Al-Baqa Cafe in Gaza City, where women and children had gathered, while additional strikes hit city streets, the town of Zawaida, and locations where aid was being distributed.

In southern Gaza, 11 civilians were fatally shot after receiving aid from a Gaza Humanitarian Fund (GHF) center. Additional fatalities were reported near Rafah, the Netzarim corridor, and a UN aid warehouse.

Eyewitnesses described chaotic scenes of indiscriminate Israeli gunfire and the detention of several individuals, including children.

Meanwhile, intense shelling persisted across Gaza City and Jabaliya, prompting fresh evacuation orders as neighborhoods came under heavy attack.

Ambulances were unable to reach many areas. Gaza’s Health Ministry reports over 56,000 deaths since the war began, most of them women and children.

The conflict started after a Hamas attack in October 2023 killed 1,200 in Israel and took 251 hostages.
