Bhutan's Prime Minister, Tshering Tobgay, showered praises on Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling him an elder brother and a mentor. Speaking at the School of Ultimate Leadership Conclave in New Delhi, he emphasized the deep spiritual connection between India and Bhutan, particularly their shared respect for Bodhisattvas.
Tobgay stated that PM Modi has led India on a path of progress through intelligence, courage, and compassion within just ten years. He expressed his admiration, saying, "Without a doubt, I see an elder brother in you. You always stand by my side and guide me."
He further praised Modi's leadership in lifting millions out of poverty and strengthening India's economy. He highlighted transformative initiatives like Make in India, Digital India, and Swachh Bharat as Modi's gifts to the country. According to Tobgay, true leadership is not about titles or positions but about vision, courage, and the ability to inspire change.
