Charlotte, North Carolina, USA: The North American Telugu Association (TANA) successfully organised a 5K run at Franklinske Park in Concord, Charlotte. The organisers reported that the event received an enthusiastic response from the local community.

Washington: On September 21, TANA hosted a 5K run at Franklinske Park in Concord, Charlotte, which saw a remarkable turnout, according to organisers. Numerous TANA leaders and members of the Telugu community joined the event. Around 300 Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) from Charlotte participated in the 5K run and walk.

The run in Charlotte was part of the TANA Team Square fundraising initiative. Participants of all ages from the Telugu community actively took part in the event. Winners were awarded prizes, and all participants received recognition. Complimentary T-shirts were also distributed to everyone who took part in the run.

Soumya Sri Talanki, an energetic anchor and certified yoga instructor, joined the event and motivated the participants throughout. Mounika Kavali, a certified Zumba instructor, energized the crowd with her dynamic Zumba session. The event was guided by Marathon Runner and TANA Community Service Award recipient Naveen Appalaneni, whose leadership and dedication inspired the attendees.

TANA Appalachian Regional Representative Ravi Vadlamudi (Nani), TANA Special Projects Coordinator Naga Malleswara Panchumarthi, TANA Team Square Chairman Kiran Kothapalli, TANA Foundation Trustee Tagore Mallineni, TANA Health Services Coordinator Madhuri Eluri, TANA Farmer Chairman Ramana Anne, Pattabhi Kanthamneni, and other team members managed and coordinated the event successfully.

After the run, TANA leaders held a meeting to highlight the various community services provided under the Team Square initiative. They expressed gratitude to all participants, volunteers, and sponsors for their support. A delicious breakfast was served to everyone attending the event.
