New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy has activated a state of emergency across 21 counties ahead of Hurricane Erin’s expected landfall.
The approaching storm, which recently battered North Carolina, is forecast to bring powerful winds, dangerous surf, and the risk of flooding along coastal areas.
Officials are advising residents to stay updated on weather alerts and adhere to any evacuation guidance.
