A citizen of India was arrested at a Nepal airport for possessing drugs. On Monday night, two individuals who arrived at Tribhuvan Airport in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, appeared suspicious to the authorities. When the police conducted a search, they discovered a large quantity—10.420 kilograms—of marijuana in their possession.
The police immediately seized the drugs and took both suspects into custody. One of the accused was identified as Pereira Giffin (29) from India, and the other as Somasak Pacha (43) from Thailand. According to Nepal Police, both individuals had traveled from Bangkok to Tribhuvan Airport via Nepal Airlines.For further investigation, the police handed over both suspects to the Narcotics Control Bureau.
