Indian family with toddler pepper-sprayed during San Antonio River Walk boat ride

San Antonio, Texas, USA:  An Indian family travelling with a toddler was unexpectedly pepper-sprayed during a boat tour on San Antonio’s popular River Walk. The disturbance began when a woman on board was asked to reduce the loud volume of her mobile phone. Although the Indian family did not request her to lower the volume, the woman reacted aggressively when the boat operator and a few passengers tried to address the issue.

According to reports, the boat operator decided to stop the ride so the woman could disembark. Once she stepped off, she suddenly sprayed pepper spray toward the passengers on the boat, affecting at least eight people, including the toddler. Videos showing her confronting the crowd and responding angrily went viral online.

Footage captured the woman yelling at bystanders who were recording her, repeatedly threatening to slap them. By the time police reached the area, she had already escaped, and no arrest was made. Authorities have not identified her.

Social media users later posted that the woman appeared on TikTok, allegedly saying she felt no remorse for her actions and claimed she would slap everyone on the boat if she could.

The Indian family involved has not been publicly identified. However, someone claiming to know them said they were safe and had submitted a formal complaint. The acquaintance explained that the tour guide was simply narrating the River Walk’s history when the woman’s loud phone audio disrupted the ride. After being asked to lower the volume, she allegedly escalated the situation and attacked the passengers with pepper spray, impacting the family and their three-year-old child.
