Dallas, Texas: An Indian-origin man, 50-year-old Chandramouli Nagamallaiah from Karnataka, was brutally beheaded at a Dallas motel after a fight over a washing machine.

The attack occurred on September 10 at Downtown Suites, witnessed by his wife and son.

Authorities confirmed that 37-year-old motel employee Yordanis Cobos-Martinez has been taken into custody and formally charged with capital murder.

Police said the clash began when Nagamallaiah asked, through a translator, not to use a broken washing machine.

Enraged, Cobos-Martinez retrieved a machete and chased Nagamallaiah, attacking him until he was decapitated. He later dumped the head in a dumpster.
