Arshid Ashrit, a third-year medical student from Komarambheem Asifabad district, Telangana, tragically died in a bike accident in Kan Tho city, Vietnam. The motorcycle he was riding lost control at high speed and collided with a wall on Wednesday, leaving his companion seriously hurt.
CCTV footage showing the crash, where both riders were thrown into the air, has gone viral online. Arshid’s parents, who run a clothing business in Asifabad, are deeply saddened by the tragedy.
Local MLA Dr. Harish Babu visited the family to offer condolences and contacted Union Minister Kishan Reddy to expedite the repatriation of Arshid’s body to India.
