Jalla Narender (25), a native of Betavolu village in Suryapet district, died in a car accident in the US. He had gone to pursue higher studies and recently completed his MS from the University of Central Missouri. While traveling with friends near Kansas City on June 1, their car lost control and hit a tree.

Narender, seated in the back, died on the spot. His body arrived at Shamshabad on Sunday night, and his last rites will be held in Betavolu on Monday.
