Indiaspora Chief MR Rangaswami Bags Eurostar Global Leadership Award in London Event

London, England, UK: Indiaspora founder and chairman, MR Rangaswami, has been honoured with the Eurostar Global Leadership Award during a special ceremony at London’s iconic Gherkin building on November 10.

The award was presented as part of the 10th-anniversary celebrations of the IEA–Eurostar Awards 2025, organised by the Mayor of Amesbury, Wiltshire. Fiona Mary Petty-Fitzmaurice, the Marchioness of Lansdowne and a close associate of Queen Camilla, handed over the recognition.

This achievement marks Rangaswami’s third international award in the same month, following earlier honours in New York and Bengaluru.

Sharing his gratitude on LinkedIn, Rangaswami wrote that being acknowledged “among incredible changemakers” was a deeply meaningful moment for him.

A veteran entrepreneur, investor and sustainability advocate, Rangaswami has played a key role in shaping Silicon Valley’s software landscape. Over the years, he has held senior positions in major technology firms and promising startups.

In 1997, he co-founded Sand Hill Group, regarded as one of Silicon Valley’s early angel investment companies. His work later earned him a feature on the front page of The Wall Street Journal. He has also appeared on the Forbes Midas List of leading investors and was named among CRN’s Top 25 Technology Executives.

Rangaswami launched the Corporate Eco Forum in 2007, creating an exclusive platform for Global 500 companies committed to integrating sustainability into their core business strategies.

In 2012, he founded Indiaspora, a global network of influential Indian-origin leaders. The organisation hosts high-level events, including a leadership forum and philanthropy summit, and played a role in advocating for the 2016 USPS postal stamp honouring Diwali.

He currently serves on the boards of the Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation, the/Nudge Foundation, and the WISH Foundation.

Rangaswami’s earlier accolades include the AACSB Influential Leaders Award (2015) and the Canada-India Business Council’s Global Service Award (2020). His work has been featured in books such as Those Immigrants and The $8 Man, and he authored a chapter in the 2021 publication Kamala Harris and the Rise of Indian Americans.

The Eurostar Awards spotlight outstanding contributions across fields such as technology, business, medicine, pharma and hospitality. This year’s event in London marked ten years of the award program.
