One Lost, 10 Injured in Gas Leak at IRGC Workshop in Isfahan

Iran, Tehran:A gas leak at a workshop operated by Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) in Isfahan Province has resulted in one fatality and injuries to ten others, according to an announcement from the IRGC's Public Relations in Isfahan.

The Saheb al-Zaman Corps, a division of the IRGC responsible for units in the region, reported the incident early on Thursday. The office indicated that further details would be provided as investigations continue.

Earlier in April, Isfahan’s capital experienced explosions after local air defenses engaged with what were deemed 'suspicious objects'. Second Brigadier General Siavash Mihandoust of the Iranian Army later clarified that the sounds were caused by air defense systems targeting these objects, and there were no resultant damages or accidents.

Additionally, Space Agency spokesperson Hossein Dalirian explained that the incident involved the interception of several microdrones by air defenses, confirming that there had been no foreign aerial attacks on Isfahan or other parts of the country.
