Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief Asim Munir may meet US President Trump on September 25 during the UN General Assembly.

The talks could cover the recent India-Pakistan clashes, floods in Pakistan, and regional tensions, with backing from Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

Munir previously met Trump at the White House in a rare gesture.

He was promoted to Field Marshal earlier this year and urged India to engage Pakistan "as a civilized nation," denying involvement in the Pahalgam attack.
