Pope Francis Passes Away: Trump to Attend Funeral in Rome

Pope Francis, the Catholic Pope, passed away on Monday due to a stroke and heart failure. Vatican doctors have confirmed this after releasing a medical bulletin. Dr. Andrea Arcangeli, Director of Health and Hygiene at Vatican City, announced the news. According to the official medical report, Pope Francis passed away following complications from stroke and heart disease. The death was confirmed through electrocardiography. The report also stated that Pope Francis had respiratory issues, multi-microbial bilateral pneumonia, multiple bronchitis, high blood pressure, and type 2 diabetes.

On Tuesday, cardinals in Rome will meet to discuss funeral arrangements. They will decide when to transfer Pope Francis' body to Saint Peter's Basilica for public visitation. Vatican sources have indicated that the body may be moved by Wednesday morning to the church for public viewing.

The Vatican has declared nine days of mourning following Pope Francis' death. The funeral and burial are expected to take place between four to six days after his passing. Former U.S. President Donald Trump has confirmed that he will attend the funeral in Rome along with his wife, Melania. Trump announced this on the Truth Social media platform, stating that this would be his first foreign visit after resuming office.
