Dallas, Texas, USA: Dr Dasari Srinivasulu, a retired IAS officer who previously served as Principal Secretary in the Andhra Pradesh government, District Collector of Prakasam, and Chairman of HDPT-Hindu Dharma Samrakshana Trust (with Cabinet rank), as well as a BJP leader, visited Dallas on Saturday. During his visit, he interacted with the local Indian expatriate community.
Addressing the gathering, Srinivasulu explained that through HDPT, efforts are underway to establish connections between Hindu temples overseas and those in the Telugu states, promote mutual collaboration, review foundational principles, and fully harness the diaspora’s support for spiritual initiatives. He recounted his experiences from over three decades of public service in the IAS. As part of the event, he also presented his book, Ippachettu Nidalo, which details his service experiences, to the attendees. The essays in Ippachettu Nidalo were originally published under the title Samvedana in Andhra Jyothi’s "Navya" section and have received significant appreciation.
Before attending the main event, Dr. Srinivasulu participated in the Gandhi Peace Walk at the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial in Irving, Texas, where he paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi. Notable attendees included Sameer Rehman, Ajay Gowda, Yashwant, Rajender, and several others.
