Time magazine has recently released the 2025 list of the "Most Influential People" worldwide. Among the 100 influential figures are notable individuals such as U.S. President Donald Trump, the temporary leader of Bangladesh, Muhammad Yunus, and tech giant Elon Musk. However, it is noteworthy that this time, no individuals from India have made it to the list.
The 2025 Time magazine list includes influential people from various categories, including politics, science, business, and entertainment. U.S. President Trump, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, tech giant Elon Musk, U.S. Vice President JD Vance, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, and WHO Chief Tedros Adhanom are among those who have earned a spot on this prestigious list. Gymnast Simone Biles, popular singer Eid Sherin, and AI mogul Demis Hassabis are also included. However, it is surprising that no Indian names feature on the list.
It is noteworthy that last year, several prominent figures from India made it to the Time magazine’s list of the "100 Most Influential People." Among them were World Bank President Ajay Banga, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt, Olympian wrestler Sakshi Malik, and actor Dev Patel. However, it is surprising that none of them have made it this time.
