Trump Gold Card Launch Sees Huge Demand with 1000 Sales in One Day

It is well known that the former U.S. President Donald Trump recently announced the launch of a Gold Card offer. He revealed that this Gold Card would replace the current investment visa EB-5 (Investor visa). Those who are able to pay 5 million dollars (approximately 44 crores) will be directly granted U.S. citizenship. According to reports, there seems to be huge demand for this Gold Card in the United States.

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick recently revealed that 1,000 Gold Cards were sold in just one day. These sales reportedly raised nearly 5 billion dollars. "There are 37 million people around the world who can afford to buy the Gold Card. President Trump believes that one million people will purchase them, potentially raising 5 trillion dollars," said Lutnick. When asked whose idea it was to introduce the Gold Card, he replied that it was President Trump's idea. "This thought came to President Trump during a meeting with investor John Paulson. It is my responsibility to implement the President’s vision, and I have a plan for this," Lutnick added.

President Trump believes that the Gold Card could help reduce the national economic crisis quickly through citizenship cards. As part of this, he announced the Gold Card offers, replacing the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Visa Program. The EB-5 program grants green cards to foreign investors who invest in the U.S. Trump had earlier announced last month that he would sell the Gold Cards for 5 million dollars each.
