US President Donald Trump will meet Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska on August 15 to negotiate an end to the Ukraine war, possibly involving territorial swaps.
The Kremlin confirmed the meeting, Putin’s first US visit in a decade. Under relentless diplomatic and economic pressure, Zelenskyy hinted that the door to peace might creak open, but only if Moscow feels the weight of the world on its shoulders.
Putin has also consulted leaders from China, India, and several other nations ahead of the talks.
