Trump Slams Dallas Beheading of Indian Man, Vows Tough Action

Dallas, Texas, USA: US President Donald Trump on Sunday denounced the brutal killing of an Indian-origin man, Chandra Nagamallaiah, who was beheaded in Texas by an undocumented immigrant from Cuba. Calling the incident “horrific,” Trump declared that the era of going soft on illegal immigrant offenders is over under his leadership.

“I have been informed about the shocking case involving Chandra Nagamallaiah, a respected member of the Dallas community, who was savagely killed in front of his wife and son by an ILLEGAL ALIEN from Cuba who should never have been here,” Trump posted on Truth Social. He vowed to pursue strict action against the suspect, emphasizing that leniency toward such criminals will no longer be tolerated.

The accused, identified as 37-year-old Yordanis Cobos-Martinez, had a history of arrests for serious crimes including child sexual abuse, false imprisonment, and grand theft auto. Trump criticized President Joe Biden’s administration for allowing the man to remain in the country despite his criminal background. “This monster was previously detained for heinous acts but released back into our Homeland because Cuba refused to take him back. Such failures will not continue under my watch,” Trump said.

Slamming the current administration, Trump further stated: “The time for being soft on these Illegal Immigrant Criminals is OVER.” He assured that Cobos-Martinez, who is now in custody, will face the maximum punishment possible. “He will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and charged with first-degree murder. My team—including Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, Attorney General Pam Bondi, and Border Czar Tom Homan—is fully committed to making America safe again,” he added.

What Happened in Dallas?

The victim, Chandra Mouli Nagamallaiah, was working as a motel manager in Dallas when he was attacked in front of his wife and child. According to reports, the confrontation began after he told Cobos-Martinez not to use a broken washing machine. Moments later, Cobos-Martinez allegedly attacked him with a machete, beheading him in cold blood.

Witnesses were left stunned, with one telling NBC DFW, “I don’t know how to explain—it was like he was there and not there at the same time.” Videos shared on social media captured the shocking scene, showing Cobos-Martinez throwing away the machete used in the attack. Police later found the victim’s head discarded in a trash bin.

Authorities confirmed that Cobos-Martinez, arrested at the scene wearing a blood-stained shirt, confessed to the crime during questioning. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) described the killing as “unthinkable.”
