President Donald Trump secured a major win as the House passed the Big Beautiful Bill 218–214, with two Republicans siding with Democrats.

The Senate had approved it earlier, 51–50, with VP J.D. Vance casting the tie-breaking vote.

The $1,000-page bill includes $4.5 trillion in tax cuts, major spending cuts to Medicaid and food stamps, increased border security, and a deportation program.

While Trump’s base celebrates, critics, including Democrats, some Republicans, and Elon Musk, have voiced strong opposition.
