The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled against Donald Trump's decision to halt humanitarian aid to various countries. The court stated that funds allocated under humanitarian assistance cannot be stopped under any circumstances. Recently, Trump issued orders to halt financial aid to foreign nations as part of his "America First" policy. He specifically mentioned stopping economic support to Ukraine and several other countries and directed that no further funds be released.
Trump's orders also instructed that no new funds should be granted, and existing financial aid agreements should not be renewed. However, he made exceptions for Israel and Egypt, stating that financial aid to these two countries would continue. He clarified that emergency medical supplies, food, and military assistance would still be provided to them.
Following this decision, numerous petitions were filed in the U.S. Supreme Court, opposing Trump's move. After reviewing these petitions, the court ruled that the government must continue providing aid. Additionally, if funds have already been withheld, the court ordered the immediate release of those funds to the affected countries.
