USA, Chicago:Former President Donald Trump appeared at the National Association of Black Journalists convention in Chicago on Wednesday, July 31. His appearance was marked by tension as he criticized journalists for what he called a 'very rude introduction' and expressed frustration with the event's delayed start, which was The delay was over half an hour because of technical issues.

The event initially focused on Trump's criticisms of Black politicians and journalists, before shifting to a discussion on why Black voters should consider supporting him. Trump was visibly displeased with the manner in which he was questioned, labeling it 'disgraceful' and stating that he had never been asked a question in such a poor manner.

Trump also noted that, based on prior statements, Kamala Harris, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, should have been present at the event. However, reports indicate that while the NABJ made efforts to have Harris attend in person, they declined her offer to participate virtually.
