The India Association of Greater Chicago (IAGC) is a non-profit, non-political, and secular community organization formed in 2016 with the primary purpose to preserve, maintain and perpetuate the heritage of the people of Indian origin, and to serve the cultural and educational needs of the Indian Community in Greater Chicago Area.

The India Association of Greater Chicago started functioning by a few enthusiastic members of the Indian Community. Today it is a fully transformed organization with excellent support of community members and aims to become the most vibrant Association of the Indian Community from the Greater Chicago area.

The major objective of IAGC is to protect, maintain, preserve and promote the interests, heritage, language, culture and history of Indians residing in Greater Chicago Area. It aspires to play an important role in strengthening Indo - US relationship in the areas of cultural, educational and humanitarian activities and to assist young Indian boys and girls in their academic studies through various academic informational seminars.

IAGC conducts several activities through the year that foster community interaction, provide entertainment, showcase local talent, undertake community service and contribute towards building our collective image & identity. IAGC provides a forum for its members to meet and exchange views and to foster a spirit of friendship, goodwill, and understanding. IAGC actively encourages the participation of performers of all ages. This helps keep them connected with their cultural heritage
