The hotel manager's emergency call described him as being overwhelmed by substances and reported that he was damaging his hotel room, which featured a balcony.
Payne rose to fame in 2010 as part of One Direction, which was formed on the British singing competition show The X Factor. After initially auditioning as a solo artist, Liam Payne joined Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson, thanks to the efforts of judges like Nicole Scherzinger and Simon Cowell.
