Columbus, Ohio, USA: The Telugu Association of North America (TANA) successfully organized the Ohio Valley Regional Volleyball Tournament on March 1 in Columbus, bringing together Telugu youth, sportspersons and families from across the region.
The sporting event witnessed enthusiastic participation from members of the Telugu community, turning the tournament into a vibrant celebration of sportsmanship and unity.
Under the leadership of TANA President Dr. Naren Kodali and Executive Vice President Srinivas Lau, the organization has been actively conducting sports activities across the United States to encourage youth engagement and community bonding. The tournament was held under the guidance of National Sports Coordinator Shiva Chava.
The event was efficiently coordinated by Ohio Valley Regional Representative Pradeep Chandanam, with the support of several community members and volunteers. Among those present to encourage the players were former Ohio Valley Regional Representative Srinivas Sanga, along with Shiva Chava, Nageswara Rao Manne, Veera Pratap, Srikanth Reddy Tholla, Manoj Sirigireddy, Chandu Gummalla, Sreekumar Kasa, Raghava Srihari, Suresh Parvathi, Rajesh, Veeresh Villigadla, Shyam Duddela, Vippala Reddy, Yash Kosana, and Teja, among others.

Trophies were presented to the winners and runner-up teams by Nageswara Rao Manne, founder member of Andhra People of Central Ohio, and Vani Gadde, former president.
Prominent community leaders also attended the event, including Sri Sai Baba Temple Board Chairman Tejo Vatti, Sri Venkateswara Temple President Venkat Kusumachi, former Andhra People of Central Ohio President Sudhakar Alwala, and community leaders Srinivas Boddu and Bharat Jataprolu. They extended their support and encouragement to the participating teams.
On the occasion, Ohio Valley Regional Representative Pradeep Chandanam, along with TANA National President Dr. Naren Kodali and Executive Vice President Srinivas Lau, expressed their gratitude to the volunteers and supporters who contributed to the success of the tournament.
Special appreciation was extended to Satya Nimmala and former regional representative Srinivas Sanga for their important role in organizing the event.
Organizers stated that such sports initiatives by TANA aim to promote friendship, unity and sportsmanship while bringing the Telugu community in the United States closer together.
