London, UK: Shruti Dube, an experienced leader with nearly a decade of experience, is set to take on the role of Meta’s UK Country Director in March 2025.
Meta made the announcement on January 16, revealing that Dube, an Indian-origin professional, will officially begin her new role in March 2025. This follows the promotion of Derya Matras to vice president for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Dube brings with her extensive leadership experience from Meta’s EMEA team, where she previously held key positions, including group vertical director for the UK and Ireland, as well as director of EMEA sales strategy and operations.
Her strategic expertise has been shaped by prior roles at McKinsey & Company and Sequoia Capital, where she contributed to the growth of the tech sector and the venture capital landscape.
Dube holds an MBA with High Distinction from Harvard Business School, in addition to a dual degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur.
Outside of her career achievements, Dube is dedicated to empowering young women. She serves as the chair of BelEve, a charitable organization that supports girls aged 8 to 18 by providing them with the confidence, skills, and resources to succeed.
