Rama Bhajans in the streets of New York Times Square

During the opening ceremony of Ayodhya Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, the famous Times Square area in New York was resounding with the chanting of Rama's name. Expatriate Indians are enthusiastically organizing this program with bhajans and kirtans to keep our traditions alive. Images of Lord Rama were displayed on the Vidyut billboard at the intersection. Arrangements have been made to telecast the Prana Pratishtha program live here.

Expatriate Indians flocked to the Times Square area in large numbers. They are celebrating by wearing traditional clothes and waving flags with images of Lord Rama.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the idol of Lord Ram in the Ayodhya temple today. The program (Ram Lalla Idol consecration) will start at 12.20 pm and end at 1 pm.
