Crown Prince Endorses Saudi Arabia Final Preparations Ahead Of Fifa World Cup 2034 Bid

Saudi Arabia, Jeddah: Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, has officially endorsed the country's bid to host the FIFA World Cup 2034. This endorsement follows the completion of detailed bid requirements, which will be submitted to FIFA in Paris by a delegation led by Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal Al Saud, Minister of Sport, and Yasser Al Misehal, President of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF).

Expressing gratitude to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Crown Prince, Prince Abdulaziz emphasized the Kingdom's transformation and growth, supported by their leadership. He highlighted the commitment to hosting an exceptional World Cup featuring 48 teams in a single country for the first time, aligning with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 to elevate its sports sector and nurture top-tier athletes.

The official bid book will be submitted in a ceremony in Paris, with a delegation including Prince Abdulaziz, Yasser Al Misehal, and two children from SAFF's youth training centers, symbolizing the aspirations of Saudi Arabia's younger generation. The bid journey, branded under the slogan "Growing. Together.," began in October 2023, with the final host nation announcement by FIFA expected in December 2024.
