Donald Trump Convicted: All 34 Charges In Hush Money Trial

Before the 2024 presidential election in America, former President Donald Trump faced a significant setback. A New York court found Trump guilty of 34 charges related to illegal hush money payments to porn star Stormy Daniels.

The 14-member jury reached this verdict, and Trump is scheduled to be sentenced on July 11. He could face up to four years in prison, though historically, similar cases have resulted in minor punishments and fines.

Stormy Daniels alleged that Trump sexually abused her in 2006 and received $130,000 from Trump's lawyer, Michael Cohen, during the 2016 presidential election to keep the incident quiet. Trump's lawyers denied these accusations, claiming Daniels was motivated by money.

Despite the upcoming sentence, political experts believe that a prison term won't hinder Trump's campaign or his potential presidency—the Republican Party's meetings to nominate Trump as their candidate will start on July 15.

Trump is expected to appeal the verdict. After the court's decision, Trump called the jury's verdict a disgrace and insisted he did nothing wrong, vowing to continue fighting.
