Hateful writings on a Hindu temple

A famous Hindu temple in the US state of California was attacked. The assailants spray-painted anti-India offensive pictures and the word Khalistan on the wall of the temple. The police have registered a case regarding the incident as a hate crime. Police said they received a complaint from the temple management on Friday morning that there were objectionable pictures (graffiti) on the Swami Narayan Mandir Hindu temple in Newark.

Police officials examined them. The police said that the graffiti was an act of provocation by the temple elders. They said that they believed that someone wanted to commit this misdeed. A case of hate crime has been registered and an investigation is underway. They said that they are collecting evidence from nearby CCTV footage etc.
