ISU Alumni Association Unveils 2024 Homecoming Award Winners

The Idaho State University Alumni Association is delighted to reveal the esteemed recipients of the 2024 Homecoming Awards.

This distinguished accolade pays tribute to outstanding alumni who have not only excelled in their respective fields but have also made remarkable contributions to both their communities and the university.

The 2024 Homecoming Awards ceremony will take place at the Alumni Recognition Dinner, marking the beginning of a weekend filled with festivities. Scheduled for Friday, September 20, at the ICCU Bengal Alumni Center, this formal dinner is a cherished tradition that unites ISU alumni, students, faculty, and friends to honour the legacies and accomplishments of our esteemed graduates.

The 2024 Homecoming Award recipients include:

  1. Dr. Nicki Chopski ‘97 - ISU Distinguished Alumna
  2. Dr. Linda and Dr. Ronald Hatzenbuehler - President's Medallion
  3. Mr. Wade & Mrs. Karen Tolman ‘75 - William J. Bartz Award
  4. Dr. Christopher DeCou ‘15 - Young Alumnus Award
  5. Dr. Cindy Hill - ISU Achievement Award
  6. Dr. James “Byrd” Yizar Jr. ‘83, ‘90 and ‘11 - ISU Distinguished Service Award
  7. Mrs. Sharon ‘86 and Mr. Park Price, III - Parade Marshals
