Missile Attack Targets Zelensky and Greek Prime Minister s Convoy

Internet Desk: Ukrainian President Zelensky and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsatakos appear to have narrowly avoided a fatal attack, as a Russian missile landed just 500 meters from their convoy. The incident occurred in the city of Odessa on the Black Sea coast during a visit to Ukraine accompanied by Zelensky. Eyewitnesses observed a massive mushroom-shaped plume of smoke rising from the blast site. A representative from the Ukrainian Navy disclosed that five people lost their lives in the attack, and several others sustained serious injuries.

Over the past two years, Zelensky has been touring battlefields to boost the morale of soldiers, often accompanied by various world leaders. Notably, this attack occurred on Wednesday during the visit of the Prime Minister of NATO member Greece. Even if successful, the consequences of such an attack would have been unimaginably severe.

Zelensky commented on the incident, saying, "I witnessed the attack today. This shows the nature of the people we are dealing with. Some individuals lost their lives in the attack, and further information will be provided.Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defense of Russia confirmed the attack, stating that they targeted a hangar in Odessa with high precision. The statement revealed that Ukrainian forces were preparing maritime drones at the location and claimed the attack was successful. However, Zelensky's name was not mentioned in the official statement.
