Almost two years after the start of the war against Ukraine, Russia has scored another key victory. Captured the city of Avdivka in eastern Ukraine after 4 months of fierce fighting. The Russian army hoisted their national flag on the city administration building there. After four months of fighting in Avdivka, the Ukrainian army retreated and Avdivka was taken over by Moscow's army.

Almost two years after Russian President Putin declared war on Ukraine, the Russian army captured the key city of Avdivka in eastern Ukraine. Avdivka shared footage of the Russian national flag flying over the administration building on social media. Avdivka became the center of conflict between the two countries for months. The forces of Ukraine, who fought with Moscow's army for 4 months in that area, retreated. The army chief of Ukraine said that the decision to withdraw the army was made keeping in mind the lives of its soldiers as Putin's forces surrounded it. However, some of the Kyiv soldiers were taken over by Russia.
