Trio of Cyclone Golfers Recognized as WGCA All-American Scholars

Three outstanding student-athletes from the Iowa State women's golf team have been named to the prestigious Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar Team. Among the honorees are recent graduates Liyana Durisic and Tess Blair, as well as rising sophomore Keeley Marx.

Durisic has earned this distinction for the third time in her collegiate career, while Blair and Marx are being honoured for the first time.

The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are among the most rigorous in college athletics, showcasing the exceptional academic accomplishments of our athletes. To be eligible, a student-athlete must:

• Maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher.

• Be an amateur and remain on the team's roster through the season's end.

• Participate in at least 50% of the college’s regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the nomination year, including the team's conference championship.
