Xi Jinping, Malian President Elevate Ties to Strategic Partnership

China, Beijing: On Monday, Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Malian President Assimi Goita, who is visiting Beijing for the 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC). 

The leaders jointly declared that their bilateral relations would be elevated to a strategic partnership. 

Xi expressed China's commitment to strengthening the traditional friendship with Mali, offering steadfast mutual support, and assisting Mali in its economic development and efforts to improve the livelihood of its people.
