Billionaires Daughter Vasundhara Oswals Distressing Detention,They re taking my phone

The Oswal family has released an audio recording of Vasundhara Oswal's last phone call while detained in Uganda, where she has spent over 20 days facing murder charges. Vasundhara, the daughter of Indian-origin Swiss billionaire Pankaj Oswal, is accused of murdering a former employee of their business empire, who has since been located alive in Tanzania. The family claims her detention is illegal, highlighting that the accusations are baseless and stem from a dispute over a $200,000 loan taken by the ex-employee.

In an Instagram post, Ridi Oswal, Vasundhara's sister, expressed concern for her sister's welfare, stating that she has been unjustly imprisoned without evidence and under deplorable conditions. Ridi shared a recording in which Vasundhara, during a tearful call, pleaded for help as officials confiscated her phone. This call was made when she was 90 hours into her detention, despite an unconditional release order that was reportedly ignored.

Vasundhara was arrested on October 1 while visiting a family business site in Uganda as part of the Oswal Group's $100 million investment in a grain-based alcohol production facility. Pankaj Oswal has publicly appealed to Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, asserting that the charges against his daughter are fabricated to protect the former employee from repaying the loan. Ridi further emphasized that the alleged victim of the kidnapping is not only alive but also in custody in Tanzania, casting serious doubt on the validity of the charges against Vasundhara.
