LG Manoj Sinha Vows Revenge: Exact a Price for Kashmir Attack

A terror attack at an under-construction tunnel in Ganderbal district, Jammu and Kashmir, resulted in the deaths of seven individuals, including a local doctor and six non-local laborers. In response, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha called for security forces to "exact a price" from the terrorists responsible for this brutal act. He emphasized that the attack on construction workers would not be forgotten and vowed that the J&K Police and security forces would take significant action against the perpetrators.

At a Police Martyrs' Day event, Sinha condemned Pakistan's ongoing attempts to destabilize peace in the region and called for heightened awareness and improved counter-insurgency operations. He urged a crackdown on drug smuggling, highlighting its connection to regional threats.

National Conference President Farooq Abdullah also criticized Pakistan for its role in fostering terrorism, asserting that Kashmir will never become part of Pakistan. He warned that continued support for terrorism would lead to severe consequences for Pakistan, stressing the need for peace and dignity in the region. Abdullah underscored that dialogue cannot occur amidst violence against innocent people.
