Houthi Missile Attack Claims Three Lives on Cargo Ship

Washington: The frequency of attacks on cargo ships is on the rise, and the recent incident involves Houthi rebels launching missiles at the cargo ship named 'True Confidence' in the Gulf of Aden. Confirming the incident, United States (USA) authorities reported that three crew members lost their lives, and six others sustained injuries. The vessel, at the time of the attack, carried 20 crew members and three armed guards. The ship's management disclosed that among the crew, one is from India, four are from Vietnam, and 15 are from the Philippines. The attack occurred at 12:30 pm local time, approximately 90 km from the Yemeni city of Aden. Tracking data indicates that the ship was en route from China to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia.
