Reports indicate that Prince Harry's relationship with Queen Camilla is severely strained, with little hope for reconciliation between them. The tension in their relationship has been ongoing for years, and it is thought that Harry's memoir, Spare, significantly contributed to the rift.
In his book, Harry likened Camilla to a "wicked stepmother" and made several critical remarks about her. According to sources cited by GB News, Camilla is firmly against any idea of King Charles welcoming Harry back.
An insider reportedly stated, “Not everyone supports this notion, but Camilla is opposed to Harry returning, even for a friendly visit. She does not wish to confront him, nor does she want to extend any forgiveness or mercy.”
The source added that Camilla views Harry as a "wolf in sheep's clothing," believing he introduces "stress and drama" to any situation.
“It’s her conviction that any interaction King Charles has with Harry could adversely affect his health and the family's well-being,” the insider explained. “If Harry receives an invitation back to the UK, it would be wise for him to keep his distance from Camilla.”
In Spare, Harry reflected on his struggles to adapt to his father's new marriage. He recalled feeling apprehensive about whether Camilla would treat him harshly, “like all the wicked stepmothers in storybooks,” and mentioned that Prince William had longstanding doubts about her. Harry also alleged that Camilla transformed his former bedroom at Clarence House into a personal dressing room after he moved out at 28.
Harry has also criticized Camilla during interviews. In a conversation with 60 Minutes, he referred to her as "dangerous" due to her connections with the media.
